5. Mashrafe Mortaza vs Ireland, 3rd T20I, Belfast 2012
In July 2012, Bangladesh played Ireland in the last match of a three-game T20I series. Bangladesh had already won the first two matches, so this game was a chance for Ireland to finish the series positively.
Ireland chose to bat first and started well, reaching 67 runs for 1 wicket in eight overs. However, Mashrafe Mortaza, an experienced bowler for Bangladesh, changed the game. He got rid of William Porterfield early and took three more wickets in his next two overs. Ireland struggled and could only score 140 runs in their 20 overs.
Bangladesh successfully chased the target on the final ball, winning the series 3-0.

4. Al-Amin Hossain vs Pakistan, Match 8, Mirpur, Asia Cup 2016
In the Asia Cup 2016, Bangladesh played against Pakistan in their eighth match. Bangladesh had just beaten Sri Lanka and wanted to reach the finals. To do that, they needed to perform better than Pakistan. Shahid Afridi, Pakistan’s captain, chose to bat first after winning the toss.
Bangladesh’s bowlers, led by Al-Amin Hossain, did well. Al-Amin took Khurram Manzoor’s wicket in the first over. Later, he gave away only four runs in the 18th over and dismissed Afridi, who was a dangerous batsman.
Al-Amin finished strongly by getting Anwar Ali out on the last ball of Pakistan’s innings. Pakistan scored only 129 runs. Bangladesh successfully chased the target of 130 runs with five balls to spare. Soumya Sarkar scored the most runs with 48 off 48 balls and was named the Player of the Match.
Even though they won this match, Bangladesh lost the final to India by eight wickets.
3. Mustafizur Rahman vs New Zealand 2016 T20 World Cup
Mustafizur Rahman, the left-handed fast bowler, showed his skills in the 2016 T20 World Cup match against New Zealand. He kept getting players out, which messed up New Zealand’s batting. His great playing meant New Zealand only scored 145 runs. But even with that, Bangladesh lost by 75 runs. Mustafizur took 5 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs, the best bowling in the tournament.
2. Shakib Al Hasan vs West Indies, 2nd T20I, Mirpur 2018
In the second game of the three-match T20I series in Mirpur, Bangladesh played against the West Indies. Bangladesh really needed to win this match after losing the first one. They batted first and scored a big 211 runs. Litton Das scored the most runs, 60 off 34 balls.
The West Indies have a strong batting lineup, but Bangladesh’s captain, Shakib Al Hasan, played exceptionally well. He took important wickets and stopped the Windies from scoring freely. Eventually, the visitors were all out for 175 runs, and Bangladesh won by 36 runs. Shakib’s excellent performance helped tie the series 1-1.
1. Taskin Ahmed vs Netherlands, T20 World Cup 2022
During the T20 World Cup 2022, Taskin Ahmed showed excellent bowling skills. In a match against the Netherlands, Bangladesh batted first and scored 144 runs. The Netherlands needed 145 to win. Taskin made a strong start by taking two wickets in the first over. He later came back to bowl and got Colin Ackermann out, who was playing a good innings. Taskin’s great performance of 4 wickets for 25 runs helped Bangladesh win the game by nine runs.
