Sanju Samson is a talented Indian wicket-keeper and batsman who gained fame through his strong performances in domestic cricket and the IPL. However, he hasn’t made a big impact with the Indian national team yet.

1. 77 (42) Vs Ireland In 2022
Sanju Samson’s highest T20I score so far was 77 runs against Ireland in January 2022. He played in Dublin, opening the innings with Ishan Kishan and forming a strong partnership with Deepak Hooda.
Samson hit nine fours and four sixes, helping India a lot. With his strong start and Hooda’s century, India ended with a big total of 225 runs.

2. 58 (45) Vs Zimbabwe 2024
Sanju Samson played really well against Zimbabwe in July 2024, scoring 58 runs. In the fifth T20I in Harare, his innings was key to setting a strong total for India.
India lost their first three wickets for just 40 runs. Samson then helped recover with a 60-run partnership with Riyan Parag. He scored 58 runs off 45 balls, hitting four sixes and one four. India finished with 167 runs and won the match by 45 runs.
3. 40 (26) Vs Ireland 2023
Sanju Samson’s 40-run innings against Ireland in August 2023 was one of his best in T20Is. Playing in Malahide, he joined the game at a crucial time and took control quickly.
After Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a half-century, Samson made the most of his opportunity, scoring 40 runs off 26 balls. He hit one six and five fours. Rinku Singh also performed well, and together they helped India reach a solid total of 185 runs.

4. 39 (25) Vs SL 2022
In a T20I against Sri Lanka in February 2022, Sanju Samson made a big difference with a key innings of 39 runs from 25 balls. The match was in Dharamsala, and Samson came in at number 4 while India was chasing 184 runs.
His steady play and ability to find gaps helped steady the Indian innings. Samson and Shreyas Iyer teamed up for around 80 runs, leading India to a easy 7-wicket victory. Unfortunately, Sanju was out to Lahiru Kumara in the 13th over and didn’t finish the game.
5. 30 (23) Vs West Indies 2022
In the fourth T20I of the 2022 series against the West Indies, Sanju Samson had a brief role. On a new pitch in Florida, Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first.
Samson came in to bat fifth and made 30 runs off 23 balls in the final overs. Axar Patel added 20 runs off 8 balls, helping India score a total of 195 runs. Samson didn’t have a big impact since he only batted in the last few overs.
